This has been my fad for the last months. Totally loving the aerial shots showing all the ingredients and cutlery. Especially when hands are captured in the shots, showing sharing and enjoyment. Isn't this what food and eating is about? This is so much sexier than a photo of an untouched dish with depth-of-field.

Have you ever been asked to take on a job long distance? We were approached by Nectar9 in Singapore to have a look at a job for Pioneer in Singapore to see if we were up for it. Our challenge would be to keep the ad agency and client fully involved in the process as they were not able to come to New Zealand for the shoot. We ended up linking via Skype for the duration of the studio shoot. This worked very well because the client was able to be on the shoot without leaving their offices and they could make vital decisions on the spot. They only thing they missed out on was some of New Zealands aesome coffee.. Otherwise, a brilliant result!
This process can be followed from any country, anywhere. You could save thousands of dollars by taking advantage of this method of producing and shooting your ads. Reddennis took care of all the production, including talent, cars, make-up, wardrobe as well as overseeing the re-touching and final image assembly. Rory Carter took care of the photography, UglyD in Singapore helped with Singapore production.
